Looking for Marketing Director who is savvy, hip, and social.
Must have multi-media, social media, brand strategy, and ecommerce experience, and have worked with anactivewear company.
Pay is $80k to $120k, depending upon experience. Job location is in Los Angeles.
We are a new luxury athletic and premier brand, and are looking for a talented, smart, and entrepreneurial Marketing Director to help drive growth of our athletic product segment. This vital position will actively work to evolve the customer experience by developing, executing, and analyzing seasonal marketing strategies across online and offline traffic channels. You will be a key driver of our success as we look to increase awareness of our offering and establish fashion credibility. This position is located in Downtown Los Angeles.
The ideal candidate will be able to bridge viral marketing, primary and secondary research, competitive intelligence and marketing savvy to build powerful marketing and communication programs. They will be an innovative visionary in managing and navigating cross-functional efforts, as they will partner with management and others to deliver on their vision for growth.
Responsibilities:
* Analyze performance of existing online traffic channels including Sponsored Links, Associates, Display Ads and Free Search. Develop robust programs for emerging online traffic channels such as Twitter, Facebook and Mobile
* Identify and scope opportunities to improve traffic and sales from these channels, and partner with the central traffic teams to execute and actively manage these opportunities.
* As an integral part of the marketing team, you will also partner with internal groups as well as lead external agencies to plan, develop, execute, and analyze offline traffic driving opportunities including TV, Print and PR.
* Analyze promotional activity and its effect on driving traffic and acquiring new customers. Make recommendations for improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
* BA/BS Degree * Minimum of 5 years of Marketing or Brand Management experience for a top tier brand marketing within the Apparel, Footwear or Retail segments is required * Effective brand positioning and product placement on: celebrities and traditional media outlets (print, television, online) * Developing multi-channel marketing and communication plans across appropriate channels and mediums, including print, TV, online display, search, social networks, etc. * Ability to think and influence both quantitatively and qualitatively * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done * Broad understanding of both online and offline marketing strategy development and channel execution * Keen attention to detail and ability to learn quickly and deliver results. * Demonstrated analytical skills; comfortable with a P&L, business trend analysis and forecasting * Demonstrated ability to successfully influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross functional teams across geographies and business units * Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and/or responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
* Providing leadership in the development of the overall brand positioning. * Defining and managing the annual marketing budget including creation and analysis of performance metrics. * Managing campaign strategy and execution while achieving key performance metric goals. * Hype product placement experience in traditional print media and celebrity product placement. * Managing external and internal resources to deliver a best-in-class differentiated customer experience and provide authoritative, compelling content. * Partnering with market and customer research to drive insights into customer segments and shopping behaviors. * Managing and evolving the endless marketing team, overseeing the product management, marketing strategy, site merchandising and creative functions. * Managing external and internal resources to deliver a truly differentiated great customer experience and provide authoritative, compelling content. * Partner with the outside agency to drive effective PR efforts on behalf of company. * High comfort level with current marketing measurement practices and attribution methods in online and offline channels, including TV * Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done * Outstanding written and verbal communication and listening skills * Passionate about the customer and the fashion industry
